INITIAL ASSESSMENT
All students from Key Stage 2 must have an initial assessment. This allows us to determine what teaching style and level of work the individual child needs. These assessments are not based on what they cannot do. It is quite the opposite! We work on the basis of what they can do according to their age and ability. The assessment is tailored to each child’s needs. The experience is to allow the child to become familiarised with the setting, an opportunity to be independent and for us to see their their level of understanding. They should feel safe and comfortable in our classroom.

School Students
Our unique programme compliments what students are learning at school. This helps to boost their confidence and gives children a chance to catch up on areas they may have missed. We can stretch children when opportunities arise.
Home Schooled Students
Our programme also help students who have opted for home schooling as it covers all the key areas, and gives them a chance to interact with other children in a small class.
Adult Learning
Some of our students are retaking or have alternative courses to help them to achieve their next steps in life. We will tailor the classes for individual course requirements.
